If you eat something unhealthy you should not feel guilty. It’s this negative thinking that will do you the most harm. On the other hand, if you’re eating large quantities of high calorie foods on a regular basis then this will railroad your fitness progress.
I think it’s an entirely worthwhile effort to read labels, understand where your food comes from, and pay attention to how the food you eat affects your body. But it’s equally important to be aware if trying to eat the “perfect” diet is causing you so much stress it might have a negative impact on your health.
